ALC Ministries
Abundant Life Church has various outlets of ministry. We endeavor to be outward focused people, and because of that, all of our ministries are intended to equip the people of God with the tools necessary to do the work of the ministry. Each of these ministries rests in our mission statement – “Preparing God’s People for the Mission Field of Life.”
The Ladies Fellowship
Led by Doris Bratcher and Anita Crosby
The mission of the Ladies’ Fellowship of ALC is to bring together women of all ages and stages of spiritual maturity to offer spiritual enrichment through the study of God’s Word and through prayer, and to provide the opportunity for connectivity and community in a loving, casual environment. This once-a-month gathering (on the 3rd Friday) is open to any women who wish to attend. (Bring your Bible and a snack to share!) These women meet at the church (1000 Woodridge Pl., Mt. Juliet) at 6:00 pm.

Band of Brothers
Led by Charlie Bretz (615-554-9085)
Open to men of all ages, the Band of Brothers meets once a month to eat together, worship together and hear a message from another brother in the church or another guest from our community. And we try to mix in a little fun throughout the night. Most often we meet at the church (1000 Woodridge Pl., Mt. Juliet) but it’s not unlike us to find a pool, maybe TopGolf, or a Sounds game to get our monthly meeting. We meet the 1st Friday of the month at 7:00 pm, which is altered in months with holidays that weekend.

ALC Kids
During the sermon time, our 4-12-year-olds have an opportunity to gather for Bible instruction. Our curriculum moves chronologically through Old and New Testaments in a way that is both interactive and true to the text (2Timothy 3:15).
We also have a nursery for 0-3-year-olds for the entire service.
Francis Schaeffer Study Center
The Francis Schaeffer Study Center is a ministry of Abundant Life Church, founded by Rob and Cyndy Shearer, along with Kevin and Karen Brummett, Deb Pennebaker, and Janene MacIvor. Rob and Cyndy Shearer are the Co-Directors. Inspired by the writings and life of Dr. Francis Schaeffer, and named in his honor, the center provides a high school program for students in grades 8-12 that focuses on equipping high school students with basic Biblical knowledge and an understanding of the Christian world-view through an integrated study of Western Civilization. In each high school year, students take a set of core courses covering the history, literature, and art of a historical era. Classes meet on Wednesdays from mid-August to early May each year.

Charlotte Mason Elementary Tutorial
The Francis Schaeffer Study Center also offers a program for students in grades 1-7, the Charlotte Mason Elementary Tutorial (CMET). CMET classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Charlotte Mason method is based on the firm belief that the child is a person, and we must educate that whole person, not just the mind. The CMET curriculum emphasizes living books, narration, art, music, and nature study.
